Veterinarians: We are compiling a REGISTER
of sheep & goat veterinarians which enables us to refer enquiries to a local practice or reliable source of information.
If you are a veterinarian with experience
in treating sheep or goats PLEASE CONTACT US and register your clinic. The information will be used only to assist with promoting high standard health care,
and to enable referrals.
We have not had much luck with Vet Clinics in this area. Most
of them know a lot about cats, dogs, cows and horses but not much about goats or sheep. I have had one vet see one of my lambs
and she said "O what a cute goat!"
The times I've been forced to use them, for assistance in
deliveries of babies or problems with sheep, I have been very displeased. I think I could have done better.
