We are currently looking for a few sponsors for the PDSS 2011 Show. All sponsors will have a photo link, if wanted, added to the show
site, above, of their business, farm, store, etc & their info. It will
also be published to the web on the PDSS, below, and here on this website.
Painted Desert Sheep Society est. 1997
In 1997 a Painted Desert registry was started, in Texas, in order
to promote recognition for the Painted Desert Sheep as being a unique sheep deserving of more than it‘s humble origins. The State Fair of Texas and the
Houston Livestock Show began showing them in Texas
a few years ago and we all hope FFA, 4H and local county shows will be having a class for them soon. These sheep have been
shown in Indiana and Ohio
for many years!
