On May 2, 2010 our Family Lost our Beloved Angel, Bennie Neighbors, my mother, to her fight with cancer complications & COPD.

Bennie R. Neighbors, 72, Quitman, in Harmony Cemetery. Died May 2, 2010.

She was born June 14, 1937. She was a retired school teacher.Survivors include her husband, Don Neighbors; mother, Norene Reneau Blundell; sons, Brent and Brian Neighbors; brothers, Larry and Rickey Reneau; several grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.

With tearful eyes I watched you, and saw you pass away.

Although I loved you dearly, I could not make you stay.

You never said "I'm leaving."

You never said "Good-Bye." You were gone before I knew it. And only God knows why. A million times you've been there for me, and even when I cried. If LOVE alone could have saved you. You never would have died. In life I loved you dearly, In death I love you still. In my heart you hold a special place, no one can ever fill. It broke my heart to lose you. But you didn't go alone. For part of me went with you, that day God called you home.
